2012 Olympic Mascot Pitch
Getting a chance to work on the 2012 Olympic Mascot was a dream come true. Arthur the Knight and Georgie the dragon have a playful relationship much like a man and his dog. Showing each other unconditional love, loyalty and respect. The perfect team who will stick side by side through thick and thin.
As a Knight in shining armour, Arthur bestows all the Olympic virtues. Passion, faith, sportsmanship, integrity and victory are part of his life blood. He is the athlete supreme, able to accomplish magnificent feats of skill, but with a sense British honour that allows him to accept his victories with modesty and humility. He also gives us a link to Great Britain's rich and fascinating history.
Georgie is Arthur's pet dragon. She is playful, cheerful and vivacious, but with an innocent sense of mischief, that you would recognise in a puppy. She is the light hearted balance to Arthur's serious nature. Georgie's loyalty and determination guides Arthur to achieve the impossible and over come any obstacle. Together they are an unstoppable team, aiming higher and becoming faster and stronger.
Felix the fox represents the Paralympics. He is a survivor. No obstacle will sway his determination to succeed. Using his intelligence, bravery and agility he can perform any challenge with out apprehension. The fox is a very British animal, with associations to our heritage and traditions.

I'm an illustrator and designer working out of Brighton, UK. Here's a little selection of my work. I'll be adding new stuff as I do it so keep checking back.
